The DENDRON Lab is housed within four rooms in Walker Science Building (WSB): Wood Shop / Sample Preparation (WSB 03D), Archive Room (WSB 03A), and two adjacent lab rooms for Measurement and Crossdating (WSB 212 and 213). We have everything needed to conduct a project. We also work closely with the Biogeography Lab (PI: Dr. Andy Reese) and Sedimentology Lab (PI: Dr. Frank Heitmuller) in our department and have open access to all their equipment.

- 5 Leica Stereozoom boom-arm microscopes with Nicholas and LED gooseneck illuminators

The Wood Preparation facility includes all necessary equipment and tools for proper preparation of wood samples, including:
- 20” industrial band saw
- industrial down-draft sanding table
- electric planer
- a floor-mounted dust collection system
- shop vacuum
- 4 belt sanders
- 2 random-orbit palm sanders
Our laboratory field equipment includes:
- 15 increment borers ranging in length from 6” to 28”
- 1 Stihl 044 Magnum chain saw
- 1 Stihl MS250 chain saw
- 1 Sthil MS201T chain saw
